About Us

We are a community of researchers from Psychology, Human Geography, Philosophy, Computing Science, Linguistics, Health Studies, English Literature, International Relations & Sociology to name but a few. What brings us together is a commitment to jointly analysing empirical materials, sometimes over lunch, sometimes after lunch. In earlier incarnations we analysed materials after dinner. It’s not impossible that the time of day we meet will change again but our attention to the details of discourse, talk and interaction will remain the same.
